This sweet girl! I had a blast at her photography session to capture the reference photos for her charcoal heirloom portrait. I met her and her brother at their family home in Raleigh, and we chatted through where their portraits would be displayed, and the styling and feel they wanted to capture for their charcoals. Once we had those details planned, I set up my mobile photography studio right in their living room and we got to work with the image captures. She was so sweet and funny, and we had so much fun. We even played around with a change of clothes so her family had two options to choose from - one more formal and traditional and the other more minimalist and casual. I am so glad her family chose this precious expression on her too; her eyes are so engaging, you can't help but be drawn into her portrait, captivated by her gaze.
