One of the best things about being a children's photographer in Raleigh, is meeting new families and then continuing to work with them as their little ones meet new milestones. I met this sweet baby when he was just a few weeks shy of celebrating his first birthday milestone. At that time, his mom decided on the Portrait Study to capture all his sweet little expressions, and it was the perfect choice. It captured all his precious little classic baby expressions, and really tells the sweetest story of his little personality when he was just a year old. 

But now he's two! And I was so excited when his mom reached out and said it was time for another special portrait of her sweet boy. I could not believe how much he had grown; it had only been just over a year since the last time I'd seen him, but now he was chatting away and has the funniest little sense of humor. He was dressed and ready to go when I arrived at their family home to set up my mobile photography studio. I loved walking in and seeing his Portrait Study from last year displayed on the wall. 

His mom had decided that the pastel heirloom portrait painting was the perfect piece of art to celebrate his second year milestone so we got to work. I had a great time working with him to capture a variety of expressions for her to choose from, and she settled on this precious image - he looks like a cherub in this capture. His finished portrait was preserved on 100% hand torn museum grade cotton, and floated and delivered custom framed and ready to hang on the wall.
