As a Raleigh children's photographer, I recently had the pleasure of capturing this joyful little 5-year-old girl in a stunning vintage pink dress. Her golden hour photography session took place in a breathtaking poppy field at sunset, creating a dreamy backdrop for portraits. Poppies stretched as far as the eye could see, and the warm light of the setting sun added a golden glow to everything it touched. I'm primarily a child photographer, and it is such a privilege to witness such moments that seem straight out of a fairytale. 

I've known this sweetpea since she was just a few days old, and watching her play in this poppy field as a big girl five year old was so special and also a little bittersweet. She's growing up too fast, but hearing her laughter and seeing her blonde wavy hair bouncing along as she ran through a breathtaking poppy field at sunset was a fast reminder that every part of childhood is magical. Amidst the chaos of life, there is beauty to be found in simplicity and joy, and this girl embraces every moment.
