RALEIGH CHILDREN'S PORTRAIT PAINTINGS
As a Raleigh family photographer specializing in heirloom portraits and portrait paintings, I was so honored to be entrusted with creating heirloom pastel portraits for a very special family who had traveled all the way from the heart of the Midwest to the Carolinas for this special project. To save their little ones a few more hours in the car, I made the drive to their quaint little vacation home just outside Charleston, SC to photograph the reference photos for their future pastel portraits. I have a deep appreciation for every family who chooses classic and timeless heirloom portraits as a way to preserve these memories with their little ones. But I am completely blow away by the families who embark on such a journey to allow me the opportunity to preserve their cherished moments with an heirloom portrait painting.
I provided the wardrobe for this session, and we chose this stunning pink heirloom dress with a delicate lace collar for this sweet girl. The soft pastel hues complemented her complexion perfectly, and her hair framed her face beautifully. As soon as she sat in front of my lens, I knew her heirloom portrait would be stunning. Her soft expression communicates volumes without uttering a word.
The reference photos we captured that day served as the foundation for her heirloom portrait painting. As a Raleigh portrait painter, my goal was to create a piece of art that would stand the test of time, evoking emotions and memories for years to come. Once her portrait was completed, I custom framed her artwork so it would be ready to hang on the wall of their family home as soon as it arrived. I hope this sweet baby loves her portrait as much as I loved creating it!
Heirloom portraits are designed to be enjoyed for generations to come, and I truly believe their presence serves as a testament to each family's commitment to preserving their family's legacy through the power of art. I'm blessed and honored to be entrusted with such a huge responsibility.
Time is a thief, and I would love to help you pause this moment with your children before it fades away. Reach out today for more info on your own piece of heirloom art!
