As a Raleigh children's photographer, I focus on creating heirloom portraits that capture the elegance and simplicity of childhood through pastel vignette portrait paintings. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph this four-year-old girl to create her own pastel portrait similar to her brothers, which I had done a couple years ago. We photographed the reference session in her family home to keep things quick and easy for her family.

Her mother chose a Feltman Brothers heirloom dress in a soft pink, featuring delicate embroidery on the bodice. This outfit not only suited her beautifully but also aligned perfectly with the pastel style of the portrait. After finalizing the portrait, I delivered it ready to frame, making it easy for my clients to showcase it right away.
