In a downtown Raleigh park, we recently had the joy of photographing a really fun photo session featuring two brothers – ages 3 years and 10 months. Using a navy, grey and white color palette to work from, the baby wore a Janie and Jack sweater romper, while big brother sported a dapper vest and jeans. This was a really cute combination of clothing that coordinated nicely together while also allowing each child's individuality to show.
An outdoor photography setting provided a perfect backdrop for these two brothers who brought lots of energy and laughter to a sunny morning at the park. You can't help but smile when in the presence of these two. In children's photography, I try to catch those more candid and fun moments that really show the connection between siblings and the bond they are developing as they grow. I have loved working with this family since I first met them when their oldest was a newborn, and can't wait to see what future photo shoots hold for these sweet boys.
As a Raleigh children's photographer, every session is a new adventure and a chance to tell the unique story of the little ones who are sitting in front of my lens. Then being able to delivery these collections of photographs to their parents and seeing them go up on the walls of their family home is incredibly rewarding. It truly is not just about taking pictures; it's about creating memories and pausing these sweet moments that pass too quickly. It's an honor to be a part of documenting these precious stories.
